Located at the southernmost end of Germany, surrounded by the majestic Allgäu High Alps, Geldernhaus Hotel garni enjoys a central yet peaceful location in the southern part of Oberstdorf – easily accessible by car. 
We offer ample free parking directly at the hotel. Since the town center of Oberstdorf is largely car-free, the main village area must be bypassed. All guests arriving from the north should be aware that reaching our hotel in the southern part of the village requires a bit of navigation. However, as our guest, you will quickly come to appreciate the advantages of car-free Oberstdorf.

Arriving by Car
Take the B19 highway (from Kempten) towards Oberstdorf. Then, follow the directions on our interactive route map via Google Maps.
Despite "car-free Oberstdorf", hotel guests have unrestricted access to our property.

Direct train connections are available from all major cities in Germany to Oberstdorf.
With the Allgäu Mobility Pass, you can travel for free from Lindau/Kempten main station to Oberstdorf!

Flights are available to Allgäu Airport Memmingen. Other nearby airports include Friedrichshafen, Stuttgart, and Munich.
